Shops
Islamic Relief Glasgow runs a charity shop in Pollokshields to assist in the raising of funds and to give us an office base to work from.
The shop is run by a wonderful bunch of volunteers. All the goods- clothing, household goods- are donated and no one is paid except a shop supervisor.
The community has donated some amazing stock and it is always interesting to see what is arriving daily. If you live in Glasgow, Please visit 115 Albert Drive we always welcome new stock and always welcome potential volunteers!!!
Our Charity shop allow us to send funds directly where needed most and to ensure administration costs are kept to a minimum.
The hours are currently Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm. Sunday 11am to 4pm. Please phone (0141) 423 5585 if you have any queries.
There are many ways that you can help in our shop:
- Day to Day running: Sorting/displaying stock whilst managing the customers and all the queries
- Constantly improving the image and shop windows dressing
- Administration tasks, recruiting and training other volunteers
