Fairtrade Tea Party for our Supporters
Islamic Relief in Glasgow branch gearing up to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 2010 and the launch of Islamic Relief’s newly furbished Charity shop on Albert Drive, Glasgow
Fairtrade Fortnight (22 February-7 March) is the annual nationwide campaign to promote awareness of Fairtrade and to encourage people to buy products which carry the FAIRTRADE Mark in order to support better terms of trade for farmers in developing countries.
The shop launch will be taking place on 1st March at 2pm. Guests will be served Fairtrade tea, coffee, homebaking and KitKats and during this time they will be shown a powerpoint presentation made by our volunteers about Fairtrade and why they should support it.
