Our Shop volunteers can't wait!!
Our Glasgow shop is ready to begin once again its operation of helping the poor and needy around the World, after the fire disaster last year. Shop volunteer's team was out in full force today to ensure the shop was ready for its opening launch in time.

One of our volunteer, Fowzia:
"I have volunteered on an ad-hoc basis with Islamic Relief for some time. I was completely shocked and saddened by the closing of the IR shop in Glasgow due to fire damage last year, and was therefore thrilled to hear it was soon to be open for business again. I think Islamic Relief do a wonderful job Globally and are one of the most trustworthy and advanced Muslim charities out there.
Personally I don't get too much time to myself, except at weekends so was really happy to know that a few hours spent during a Sunday afternoon came to good use when my sister and I bagged the fun job of dressing up the window displays in the refurbished shop.
Alhamdulillah, was really worthwhile being able to see other volunteers effort on display, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves too!"
