The first time i helped out with IR was in April 06, IR Concert in Glasgow then couple of nights later in Bradford. Then after moving back to Scotland in June 08 and being involved with our Well Foundation, our team was approached by Habib to help with an emergency fundraising dinner for the Children of Gaza.
Having seen the real photos of the attrocities in the Strip, and the lack of aid being able to get into the region, it was like as if our hearts were being torn!  We simply could not sit back in the comfort of our homes and watch all these innocent women, children and general civilians made homeless, their lives turned upside down by no fault of their own.
After doing some research and having seen news, photos and videos of other disasters, wether they be man made or by mother nature, watching all those mis-fortunate to be involved, it just pushed myself and the Well Foundation team to become IR Volunteers!
